Sharni Vison, a native of Australia and a dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her debut as an actor occurred in 2001 when she was selected to be part of the Australian Soap show Home and Away where she played a small role in two episodes. Due to her outstanding performance that she got the chance to play the leading role. While she tried for the role, she wasn't chosen. Instead, she was cast on the show in the role of Cassie Turner.
