Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and music producer. Sara Ramirez was raised by an American mother, and faced a lot racial taunts, which caused her to feel uncomfortable. It was during her ninth grade that she gained confidence after being highly praised during an audition. It not only boosted her confidence but also shifted the direction she wanted to go in her career. She was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she was 23, her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both major break. However her greatest breakthrough came when she starred in the role in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway performance of Spamalot garnering not only her the Tony Award for her performance but also a flurry of praise from critics. In 2007, she was a cast member on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. Known as a singer she released her own single and an extended play. In addition, she's a campaigner and has been active to promote LGBT rights.
