David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American anchor, journalist and anchor and reporter. The most famous of his work is for his show World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic video footage celebrity gossip and animated movements has grown to become the most watched broadcast in America. Made In America has also been nominated for Emmys. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary replacement for the show's founder Diane Sawyer. In the past the anchor has been on numerous ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's traveled to numerous locations around the globe reporting the news. From Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. His awards include multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards in addition to distinctions from The Associated Press.
