David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American journalist, anchor and reporter. He is most well-known for World News Tonight. The show is watched by millions of American David Muir's program is known for its celebrity gossip video and animated gestures. Also, he is known for his Emmy-nominated show Made In America. The show's predecessor Diane Sawyer was the anchor of ABC World News Tonight before becoming the anchor. He's reported on a variety of shows during primetime for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He's been all over the world covering news in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. His accolades include several Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honors by the Associated Press.
