Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, singer songwriter and actress. Her most well-known work is her role as Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's music has been featured in films and television shows such as How to Be Single Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. She studied dance at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. She began acting professionally aged three for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen's acting career slowed to abruptly stop in the span of three years. Then she was offered the role of the main character in Misconceptions which airs on WB. Momsen also appeared at the time in Saving Shiloh (2006). Additionally, she was one of three leading candidates for Hannah Montana's title part. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the part.
